In occupied Mariupol, Russians clear the canal on the approaches to the port to facilitate the removal of stolen goods
In temporarily occupied Mariupol, the Russians are clearing the canal on the approaches to the seaport to facilitate the removal of the stolen goods.

This was reported by the head of the “Center for the Study of Occupation” Petro Andryushchenko.
“Officially, there are no ships, they are all in other ports or written off for scrap. But in practice, a whole fleet of special equipment is operating on the approaches to the port of Mariupol: the self-loading dredger 'Urengoy', which right now, according to GPS data, is in the port of Rostov-on-Don, but it can be seen from the shore in Mariupol; the soil removal barge 'Flamingo'; the dredging platform 'Kolomenets', which has been formally written off for a long time,” he noted.
The task is to clear the channel to the port, increase the depth from 7 to 9.15 meters, the width from 70 to 100 meters, and the length to 17.5 km. The deadline is 2027.
“This is not about developing the port, it is about simplifying piracy. Pirate logistics is being built systematically, for large parties,” Andryuschenko added.
