Russians Illegally Export 112,000 Tons of Wheat From Mariupol Port In January-October 2024

In ten months, 22 ships with stolen Ukrainian grain departed.

In January-October 2024, 112,000 tons of wheat stolen from Ukrainian farmers were exported from the port of the temporarily occupied Mariupol.

Representatives of the regional office of the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.

During the 10 months, 22 motor ships carrying stolen grain departed from Mariupol.

“During the reporting period, experts inspected about 141,000 tons of wheat and issued 15 phytosanitary certificates for export consignments totaling 112,000 tons,” the statement said.

As previously reported, the Russians ship Ukrainian grain to Russian ports or the occupied Crimea, from where they export it to foreign markets under the guise of Russian agricultural products.

The port of Mariupol handled 230,000 tons of cargo from the beginning of 2024 to 30 October 2024.
