Russians plan to increase the illegal export of Ukrainian resources from the port of Berdiansk

In particular, criminal plans are being discussed to increase the cargo turnover of the occupied Berdiansk port to 1.2 million tons per year by 2027.

The fake “governor” of Zaporizhzhia region, collaborator Yevhen Balytskyi, held a meeting with the head of the Azov-Black Sea Department of Rosselkhoznadzor to expand the illegal export of Ukrainian resources. In particular, they discussed criminal plans to increase the cargo turnover of the occupied Berdiansk port to 1.2 million tons per year by 2027.

“The occupiers claim that the Berdiansk port has allegedly become the ‘fastest growing port in the Sea of Azov’. Last year alone, more than 300,000 tons of looted grain were illegally exported through it, and now they are working on organizing round-the-clock looting,” the city administration said.

The Russian invaders are building infrastructure for the export of loot, implementing digital accounting systems, creating fictitious quarantine zones, and conducting an “inventory of vineyards.” This allows them not only to export already produced products, but also to plan future “harvests” from Ukrainian land.

“Any ‘development’ of the Ukrainian port of Berdiansk under occupation is a direct robbery of Ukraine under the guise of economic growth,” the representatives of the legitimate Ukrainian authorities added.
