The Russian occupiers have also widened the road near the Sea of Azov, and they are attempting to build a railway to relieve the Kerch Bridge.
The Russian occupiers are exporting looted goods, including scrap metal, from the port of Berdiansk and bringing in ammunition and heavy equipment.
The Berdiansk District Council’s deputy head Viktor Dudukalov announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
According to Dudukalov, they have air defense systems, and they will build shelters there. “It can be said that today the port is a full military facility, which the occupiers have equipped for military use,” Dudukalov said.

The occupiers have also widened the road near the Sea of Azov, and they are trying to build a railroad to relieve the load on the Kerch Bridge.
As the CFTS portal reported in October, the Russians have sent 17 ships to Mariupol and Berdiansk to pick up stolen cargo. The Russians are using both Ukrainian ports on the coast of the Sea of Azov to export goods (grain, metal products, coal, etc.) stolen from the temporarily occupied territories, as well as for military purposes.
